UK GDPR
Privacy notice
Short version: we take your enquiry, pass it to one fire safety firm so they can quote, and do nothing else with it.
What we collect
Only what you type into the enquiry form: your name, email address, phone number if you give one, the type of premises, the postcode, and anything you write in the message box. We also record which page the enquiry came from, so we know which area to match you to.
Why, and on what basis
We process it to answer your enquiry and to introduce you to a firm that can quote. The lawful basis is legitimate interests: you asked to be put in touch, and passing the details on is the only way to do that.
Who we share it with
One fire safety firm covering your area. They become an independent controller of your details from that point and their own privacy notice applies to what they do next. We do not sell your details, we do not pass them to a list of firms, and we do not use them for marketing anything else.
Where it is stored
Enquiries are held in our own system on Cloudflare infrastructure, and in the email we use to pass them on.
How long we keep it
Twelve months from your enquiry, so we can tell what happened if you or the firm come back to us. After that it is deleted.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, or object to us processing it. Email enquiries@bristolfireriskassessment.co.uk and we will act within one month. If you are not satisfied you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
